This busy weekend in Tucson

It’s fall, so I should just say this: There are lots of family friendly events all over Tucson for the next six months, so have fun!

But, okay. Here:

Kidical Mass, tomorrow! If you’ve never done a Kidical Mass ride, give it a try tomorrow–super fun, low key, any form of transportation is fine…and it’s gonna be a beautiful 80 degree day!!!

If tomorrow’s event inspires you to add new cycling options for your family, the GABA bike swap is a week from tomorrow.

It’s Homecoming weekend at UA, which means a) lots of traffic near the University, and b)marching bands! bonfires! all sorts of fun stuff. We love parades AND fires, so this is a great time of year for us.

On Sunday, the awesome Kore press celebrates its 20 year anniversary at the beautiful Franklin House downtown. Kids are free! I have been to their events (this year, as in the past, an art auction, which has some awesome eye candy and some affordable gift options) and they are wonderful.

Looking to do something truly unique this weekend? Observe and learn about traditional blacksmith techniques at El Presidio park downtown, tomorrow!
