So it’s fall break, and Lincoln begged me to let him to to camp at Playformance downtown. He’s lucky enough to have “Coach Kevin” as his PE teacher at school, and thinks that he’s the bee’s knees.
And so Linc’s going a few days this week and LOVES it. He’s an active kid, cerebral and sensitive too, and Playformance seems to honor all these facets of a child. It’s kind of amazing.
The 2nd Saturday of each month Playformance has a Parents’ Night Out, where for $25 you get a night out with your partner, friends, or solo, and your kiddo has a blast–and is fed dinner.
Definitely a local treasure and a wonderful solution to those times when you need child care but want something MORE for your kiddo.
(Playformance is a TucsonMama supporter. But to remind you, we don’t have supporters that we don’t actually support ourselves, so every word of this post is true. Moreover, I think long and hard about where our kids spend their time and where we spend our money….)
