2012 Tucson Festival of Books Children’s Events
Hosted by UA BookStores!

The University of Arizona BookStores is excited to invite the campus community and
their families to our 2012 Tucson Festival of Books Children’s Events! This year we
have three outstanding events organized for kids that we can’t wait to host: Storybook
Character Breakfast, American Girl Tea Time and Judy Moody & Stink Fest!

The Storybook Character Breakfast once again kicks off the 2012 Tucson Festival of
Books with a fun-filled breakfast with your favorite storybook characters. The parade
to the Children’s area following the Breakfast marks the official opening of the 2012
Tucson Festival of Books! This event is ideal for children ages 2-6.

American Girl Tea Time is back this year, offering tea sandwiches and sweet treats
for girls and their dolls. UA BookStores welcomes American Girl author Megan McDonald
to this year’s festival to speak about reading, writing and being an author. This event is
ideal for parents and girls age 5-12.

The NEWEST addition to the UA BookStores children’s event line-up, the Judy Moody
and Stink Fest, celebrates the misadventures of Judy Moody and younger brother Stink.
This event includes a light lunch, a Judy & Stink look-alike contest (dress up, kids!),
and a special speaking and signing appearance by Megan McDonald, the author and
creator of the Judy moody series! Ideal for girls and boys ages 6–10 years old.

Tickets for all three events are $15 for adults and $15 for children.
Children 2 years of age or younger are free of charge. A parent and/or guardian MUST attend all events with their children!

Visit uabookstore.arizona.edu/festival/kids for tickets and more event information.
We look forward to seeing you at the Festival!
