On Sunday, February 19 Arizona Women’s Basketball is hosting the First Annual Wag Your Tail at McKale. Game time is set for 3pm and will be televised nationally on FSN. We invite all of our fans to bring their dogs out to cheer on the Cats as they take on the Washington Huskies. Free dog treats and water will be provided throughout McKale Center along with sanitation stations for pet accidents and puppy pads for the dogs who can’t wait. There are grass areas around McKale for your pets, please be respectful and pick up after your pet. We will have doggie bags on hand. Make sure to enter your pet into the most spirited dog costume contest and dog parade at halftime. The best outfit wins a prize from Arizona Athletics!
The Arizona Humane Society will be in attendance giving fans an opportunity to adopt dogs. We want this event to be successful, so we encourage you to bring your dogs! With this being said, all owners are responsible for their dogs. Please be sensitive to those sitting around you, as a courtesy; please be respectful if your dog becomes an imposition.
For our fans who prefer not to sit by dogs, there will be a Dog Free Zone in Section 15 (middle).
