Here’s an awesome art event this weekend and opportunities for spring classes for kiddos!

Please join us at the 4th Annual UApresents Children’s Festival Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm. The festival will take place on the Centennial Hall patio right before the show Imago Theatre’s ZooZoo at 4pm. We will be offering art activities for children and their families!

Our 18th Annual series of Spring 2012 Classes will begin on Saturday, March 3rd! Wildcat Flyer

Our curriculum has included experiences in movement and contemporary dance; narrative and storytelling; collographic printing; cyanotype photography; post-modern architecture; clay; stop-frame animation, and other art-making processes. Themes and issues we will explore include personal geographies; diversity; our desert environment and sustainability; community; collaboration; and identity! We’ve visited both the Arizona State Museum and the Center for Creative Photography, too (and were visited by local artists)!
