It’s about time for my regular round of links to articles I’ve read/liked lately. Note that I rarely post reviews of books that I read. That is, of course, because I rarely read books. I used to, but no more.

(She also write a fabulous article on sound editing in the movies. I have not seen any of the movies to which she refers, yet I was completely engrossed–it’s that good!)

Lastly, an interesting look at depression and its role or perhaps utility, and some possible costs of treatment with medication. Is it worth it? As someone who used to write a lot, and who also used to be way more anxious than I am now, it’s a discussion I often have in my head (and yeah, the conversation in my head thing–I know, I know–c’mon, you do it too, right?)
