Is it me or is there tons of really cool stuff going on right now?
Last week Stroll & Roll, Family Festival etc.
This weekend: Kids’ version of the Bees Knees Clothing Swap, AND tomorrow evening on the UofA mall Balloon Glow.
Balloon Glow starts at 5pm. We’re so there. I don’t think our balloon crazy kid has ever actually seen a hot air balloon up close and personal. Last time we had the chance it was rained off. This time there is no rain in sight, we have our cans ready for the Food Bank Donation Bin and I’m digging out the children’s books I have on hot air balloons. Do you have any balloon books? Any favorites? Hope to see you there. – Tucson Mama Sidekick

No books about balloons, but if you have Netflix, you can instantly download the 50-year-old classic, “The Red Balloon.” I loved it as a kid, and Little Man LOOOVES to watch this with me. It’s about 30 minutes long, only a few words, but a really enchanting movie. Maybe we’ll watch it again tonight before the events tomorrow.

This was great fun — thanks for posting about it, as I hadn’t heard prior to reading it here. I’m already looking forward to next year!
