Where should we donate any babies’/kids’ clothes that might be left over from Saturday’s clothing swap? I know of a bunch of charities and organizations, but am curious to know if anyone has a case to make for one vs another–I’m open to suggestions!

I think I met you guys at the Diaper Bank of So AZ fundraiser this past Saturday. I bet they would take some clothing to have on hand for children as needed. I understand there are so many emergency situations that they and the local fire dept some into where kids are with diapers and proper clothing.

I know they come across all kind of emergency situations, as do the local fire department with whom they support. Many of the children lack diapers and proper clothing…just a thought.

A friend of mine from high school helps run one of the locations for New Beginnings for Women and Children. Here is their mission statement :
“Our mission is to help homeless women with children by providing the housing, supportive services and opportunities for growth that will create stable, financially independent families.
Your support can have a positive impact on women and children that will last for their entire lives.”
I myself donate my extra things to her. I have also been buying some small gifts with coupons to give to them for Christmas. I think this is a great organization and could use any help they can get. Kari Bene-Schafer is my friend who works for the company and I will privately email you on how to contact her. You of course could always contact the company. I feel this would be a great charity, we all need a little help once in a while.
