Besides when he is in school, he is rarely without one of us, so a night at Hacienda del Sol sounds wonderful. D & I had dinner there on our anniversary last year, and it was really spectacular. They had asked if it was for a special occasion when we made the reservation, and they brought us a special tray of goodies for dessert to celebrate. Everything was perfect and it was a wonderful evening. You'll have a great time, I'm sure. Enjoy it! Little Man hasn’t been apart from either of us overnight, either. Melissa. Sounds dreamy. I made a reservation yesterday for a night at Hacienda del Sol...they have an awesome summer special--lower rates (by about half), as usual, but also a big ol' voucher to use in the restaurant along with a free bottle of wine. Now...getting ready mentally! I have not left the kid(s) overnight yet. Well I left Linc when Clem was born. But I've never had a night without a kid since 2006. Whoa. I am thrilled and a little freaked out. Clem still isn't so into the bottle, but it's less than 24 hours and I figure she will have some milk eventually. And I'll have to pump a few times. But holy crap, a night alone with my husband!! This is truly exciting. Ah yes, I recall your Miraval experience(s?) Melissa. Sounds dreamy.
