Next Saturday night, June 7th, there’s a sweet looking art opening at the fantastic dada gallery (in the 6th and 6th/Firestone building–southwest corner of 6th St and 6th Ave). We’ve been to the openings there before and they’re really nice. Pretty kid-friendly, too–as long as your little one isn’t, you know, a total jackass at these kinds of events. Our son and his pal C had a blast last time, groovin’ to the music and absorbing the urban culture. (In addition, our son absorbed more than his share of the fabulous catering, especially the chile-dusted pineapple, mango, and watermelon skewers. Sorry, Kate!!)
Hope to see you down there. The art looks amazing.
The opening is from 6-9pm, with music by the Cramps-esque, sodamncool Mission Creeps.
