Come and see great art and enjoy convivial company, above average wine, and  fine cheese at the opening of “Desert Vernacular” featuring artwork by our friend Davison Koenig. Also on the menu is live music by a performer with the very cool name of “little black cloud”–we hear that a real old-timey gramaphone will be involved!

The event is at the gorgeous Dada Gallery in the old Firestone building on 6th Ave and 6th Street this Saturday, April 5, 6pm to 9pm.  We hope to see you there! (We brought the little toddling person to an opening at this gallery a few months ago and he had a blast soaking up the scene, sampling the delectable hors d’oeuvres and poking the art connoisseurs in the shins with breadsticks. Hopefully he’ll have a companion or two in his exploits this Saturday…Carmen, Tulla are you in again??)

We’re in. It will be quite an arty afternoon of Street Fair and opening.

Sam can’t wait for the snack and gramophone.

we have a super early day on Sunday (Race for the Cure) but figure why not live dangerously and just stay out late the night before.
